A review on the hair growth effect by acupuncture in mouse

Abstract
|
|
|
Objective : Alopecia is induced by various causes. Also, hair less is a serious stress to people. In this study, we reviewed previous studies about the correlation between hair growth and acupuncture.
Methods : We searched several literatures, researches and review articles using key words of `acupuncture`, `hair growth`，`alopecia` in Pubmed and google scholar.
Result : A total of 3 studies was reviewed. In the 3 papers reviewed in this study, C57BL/6 mice were used as experiment animal. Also, microneedle therapy and plum-blossom needle therapy had the positive effects of hair growth in mouse.
Conclusion : Acupuncture may be promising methods for the hair growth.
